Yes... Here's Another Word On Waiting!

ManFast Nugget: Some of you have been standing, waiting, believing for God to send your mate for a long, long time! You've been waiting so long that you feel the frustration setting in and you're just about ready to throw in the towel!

You keep thinking...

"Okay God, I know a promise is a promise, but don't be ridiculous! I don't want to be like Grandpa Abraham or Grandma Sarah when I have my first kid... at 90!!!"

I feel you! Waiting is hard, especially when you're not getting any younger and you don't see anything happening. You keep praying and praying and all you hear coming out of the love department is *crickets*!

Or you keep hearing that dreaded word... WAIT!

I know you're tired of hearing this, but I hear the Father speaking these words, yet again...

Don't Get Discouraged and Don't Give Up!!!

It may seem like it's taking forever and a day, but don't forget that you're dealing with the Father of Time! One day to Him is like a thousand days for us... and a thousand days in our mind, is like a nano-second in His!

God controls all the elements and the seasons of your life! Ask Him to put you into perfect alignment with His agenda and keep you in step with His timing, so you don't miss out on anything He has for you! He can absolutely do that, because He made time and He made you and He knows the plans He has for you, so He can make it all beautiful in His own time!

Now rest in knowledge that He knows where you are, what you need and how to bring it to you in the appointed time and space! And take note of this too... It's not so much about sitting around idly waiting for something to happen... It's more about learning to get into the flow of God's purpose and moving in sync with His divine ordering of the behind the scenes, inner workings of your life. Once you tap into God's mind and get a sense of what He's doing and why He's doing it, the way He's doing it, then it'll all make sense!

Trust! There is a method to God's madness!

Be encouraged by the word of the Lord in Isaiah 40:28-31 (NIV)

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

If you're getting weary in the waiting, then ask God to renew your strength, stretch your faith and extend more grace for the journey!

Remember this as well from Numbers 23:19-20

"God is not human, that he should lie; not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it."

Here's one more promise to add to all the rest...

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and He will strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord!"
Psalms 27:14
